Mount Faber Park

This guide to Mount Faber Park in Singapore starts with the hill the Malays called Bukit Bendara, Flag Hill, and the signal station once used to flag ships in from the harbor below. It follows engineer Charles Faber, who cut the road to the summit in 1844 before moving on to his next posting, and Deputy Prime Minister Goh Keng Swee's ride on a newly opened attraction here in 1974.
