Zamek w Przegorzałach

This guide to the castle at Przegorzały in Kraków follows architect Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz, who had renovated Wawel Castle and led the city's Academy of Fine Arts, and the December night in 1940 when the new German district governor, Otto Wächter, wanted his hilltop villa. It traces what Szyszko-Bohusz was then forced to design in the villa's place, and how the unfinished building later passed to Hans Frank and Heinrich Himmler.
