Flacon

This guide to Flacon in Moscow opens inside the nineteenth-century crystal and glass works built here to supply bottles for a Moscow perfume house that later became supplier to the Imperial court. It follows the French Beaux family, whose son grew up in this workshop and went on to help shape one of the world's most famous scents in Paris, and traces the factory through nationalization and decades of Soviet production.
