muWi Stained Glass Museum

This guide to the muWi Stained Glass Museum in Kraków traces the workshop founded by architect Stanisław Żeleński, who traveled Europe studying glasswork before building this house on Krasiński Alley around 1907. It follows what happened after his death on the eastern front in 1914, and how the business passed into the hands of his widow, Izabela Żeleńska, at a moment when few expected a workshop like this to keep going. The cutting tables, kilns and leading irons still in use today date from that same era.
