Yad Vashem

This guide to Yad Vashem's Children's Memorial in Jerusalem follows Abraham and Edita Spiegel, who survived Auschwitz in 1944 but lost their young son Uziel there, and how their loss led architect Moshe Safdie to design a memorial unlike any other on the site.
