Kornarou Square

This guide to Kornarou Square in Heraklion follows two fountains built centuries apart: Bembo's Renaissance fountain, crowned by a headless Roman statue and fed by Crete's first aqueduct, and a smaller Ottoman-era sebil raised in 1776 by a wealthy patron named Hadji Ibrahim Aga.
