Convento de Santo Domingo

This guide to the Convento de Santo Domingo in Valencia centers on a single Sunday morning, the nineteenth of July 1936, inside what was then the city's Capitania General. General Fernando Martinez Monje commanded the Valencia garrison, and plotters behind the uprising against the Republic did not trust him, so they sent General Manuel Gonzalez Carrasco with orders to force him into the rebellion or push him aside.
