Hundertwasser House

This guide to the Hundertwasser House in Vienna opens with a 2001 lawsuit over who deserves credit for this building, then rewinds to 1977, when the self-taught painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who thought straight lines were sinful, was invited to design an apartment block and handed the city an unbuildable model.
