Hundertwasser Village in Vienna traces how a modern tire factory on Kegelgasse became an artist's playground. In the early 1980s, tire salesman Klaus Kalke watched artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser's swirling new apartment block rise across the street, then found the artist knocking on his door, frustrated that tourists could admire his building but never step inside it.
