Balboa Park Carousel

This guide to the Balboa Park Carousel in San Diego explains the spring-loaded arm bolted beside the ride, feeding rings to riders reaching from the outer horses since the 1890s, nearly all of them steel and one hidden brass ring worth a free spin.
