Bunker Hill Monument

This guide to the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston follows Joseph Warren, Massachusetts's newly commissioned major general, on the morning of June 17, 1775, choosing to fight as a private soldier rather than command, shouldering a musket beside farmers and craftsmen in the redoubt on Breed's Hill.
