Yehliu Geopark

This guide to Yehliu Geopark in Taipei centers on the Queen's Head, a mushroom-shaped hoodoo carved by wind and salt spray over four thousand years, whose neck has been measured shrinking year after year since a crack first opened in the 1960s. It follows the geology that stacked this cape's rock like layered pastry and the park staff who scan, coat and rope off the stone to slow its collapse.
