Miniatürk

This guide to Miniatürk on the Golden Horn in Istanbul follows the park's one hundred thirty-five scale models, built at one twenty-fifth true size, across three thousand years of Anatolian, Istanbul and Ottoman architecture. It lingers on the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders that survives today only as scattered stones in western Turkey, rebuilt here whole, and moves through Cappadocia's fairy chimneys, the terraces of Pamukkale and thirteen monuments that once stood under the Ottoman flag in other countries.
