Phuket Aquarium

This guide to Phuket Aquarium traces its start in 1983 as part of a real marine research station studying the Andaman Sea, and the turtle rehabilitation pool that still greets visitors at the entrance. It leads you past the Arapaima tank, the moray eels and reef sharks, and into the underwater tunnel where blacktip and leopard sharks pass overhead. Most of the aquarium's rescued turtles arrive after collisions with boat propellers.
