Floriańska

This guide walks Floriańska, Kraków's medieval royal route laid out in 1257, tracing it from Saint Florian's Gate down toward Wawel Castle along the road every crowned king once rode. You'll hear about the rusted iron rings still bolted into the stone, once used to chain the street shut at night, and about the triumphal arches once thrown up for royal processions near the top of the street.
