Monasterio de Santa Catalina de Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios

This guide to the Monasterio de Santa Catalina in Cusco traces the twenty-four Dominican nuns who fled an eruption-ravaged convent in Arequipa and arrived here in 1605, four years after their new home's land had been set aside, to find the ruins of the Inca Acllahuasi, the House of the Chosen Women, still beneath the ground.
