Boy on Chair by Ernest Zacharevic

This guide follows the Boy on Chair mural in George Town, painted in 2012 by young Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic during his first commission for the George Town Festival, and the real wooden chair he bolted to the wall so visitors could climb into the picture with him. Six murals went up that year under his Mirrors George Town series, breaking from flat wall painting by bolting real objects, bicycles, motorbikes, a chair, straight onto the plaster.
