El Hank Lighthouse

This guide to El Hank Lighthouse in Casablanca opens on a question: how did water that once wrecked ships come to draw surfers instead? It goes back to before 1920, when this stretch of coast had no warning light and captains tore their hulls on a hidden reef, and follows architect Albert Laprade's 1916 to 1920 tower, crowned with a Moorish ridge that echoes a minaret.
