Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae)

This guide to the Blue House in Seoul returns to ten o'clock at night on January 21, 1968, when a police chief named Choi Gyusik stepped into a road less than a hundred meters from here and stopped thirty-one men in South Korean army uniforms walking toward the president's residence. Something in their answer to his next question didn't add up. The guide follows the two years of training behind that walk and the very different life one of the men went on to lead.
