Seopjikoji

This guide to Seopjikoji on Jeju follows an old story about the Dragon King's son, ordered to wait one hundred days on this headland before he could marry a fairy who bathed in the sea below. Locals still call the shoreline stone where he waited Seondolbawi, and couples visit it before marrying. A Joseon-era beacon tower still stands on the rise behind it, four meters high, built to watch the same restless water.
