The Knesset

This guide to the Knesset in Jerusalem opens on the evening of October 29, 1957, when a lawmaker mid-session looked up to see something falling from the visitors' gallery. It follows the leaders in the chamber that day, among them David Ben-Gurion and Golda Meir, and the young former soldier who walked in past nothing but a low railing.
