About this audio guide
This guide to SKYE, the rooftop on the fifty-sixth floor of Menara BCA in Jakarta, follows a team of geodesists from the Bandung Institute of Technology and their laser scanner at the foot of a city skyscraper. It touches on the ground beneath Jakarta, the groundwater pumped from it, and an office tower abandoned over a rumour. Best heard at the outdoor rail, facing north toward the sea.
