Archeological Museum

This guide to the Archeological Museum in Dubrovnik opens on Holy Wednesday, April 1667, when Revelin's bells were still ringing across the city moments before the ground began to shake. It follows the earthquake that flattened the Rector's Palace and cathedral within a minute, and the fortress that barely felt the tremor while fires burned for weeks outside its walls.
