Emporio

This guide to Emporio in Santorini opens with Barbarossa's fleet sailing in during August 1537, and asks how a castle built with a single sealable gate, deliberately crooked streets, and windowless ground floors could hold against the most feared pirate admiral of the sixteenth century.
