The Moor’s Chair (Saint Helen's Castle)

This guide to the Moor's Chair at Saint Helen's Castle in Granada follows two very different crews who worked this ridge above the Alhambra. Nasrid-era guards once watched over the Acequia Real, the royal canal carrying river water for miles to feed the Alhambra and Generalife, while centuries later, in 1966, builders spent four years turning the old watchtower into a restaurant with a view over the city.
