Mauerpark

Mauerpark in Berlin sits on a stretch of the former Berlin Wall's death strip, patrolled by guards and watchtowers until 1989, when neighbors began planting trees on the scar it left behind. The guide follows a bike courier known as Joe Hatchiban, who strapped a karaoke machine to his cargo bike in 2009 and rode into the park's old stone amphitheater one Sunday, stopping strangers on the street to ask them to sing.
