The Museum of Jurassic Technology

This guide to the Museum of Jurassic Technology in Los Angeles opens in nineteen eighty eight, when filmmaker David Wilson and his wife Diana opened a hushed, dimly lit museum on Venice Boulevard where fact and invented oddity sit side by side in identical, reverent museum prose. It follows one case in particular, on the stink ant of Cameroon, to show how the trick works. Wilson and Diana ran the place for over a decade before they could even afford to buy the building, in nineteen ninety nine.
