Bellagio Hotel & Casino

This guide to the Bellagio in Las Vegas opens at four in the morning in December 2010, when a masked man walked into the high-limit craps pit right where you're standing, pulled a gun, and left with a backpack of casino chips, including rare cranberry twenty-five-thousand-dollar ones. Rather than vanishing, the story turns to what he did days later, checking back into the same casino as a high-rolling guest. The casino, not yet sure who he was, comped his steak dinners and gave him his own host.
