SALT At Our Kaka'ako

This guide to SALT At Our Kaka'ako in Honolulu starts with two towering murals by artist Kamea Hadar wrapping a parking garage, a woman facing the ocean and a fisherman facing the mountains, painted so the two can never share a wall. It follows the Hawaiian legend of the lovers Naupaka and Kaui, separated by a jealous Pele, and the half-white flower said to mark their story. A second mural stands at the corner of Auahi and Keawe streets, painted by a husband and wife team.
