FlatironCity

This guide to FlatironCity in Atlanta follows a wedge-shaped skyscraper that architect Bradford Gilbert squeezed onto a knife-edge downtown corner in 1897, nicknamed for its resemblance to a laundry iron. It traces the building through Atlanta's postwar decline, when downtown's business core drained north and this block sat half-forgotten near the wrecking ball.
