Tlos Ruins

This guide to the Tlos Ruins asks why a mountain valley town needed a stadium seating thirty-five hundred people, then answers it through Tlos's standing as one of only six Lycian cities holding three votes in the regional league. It follows the stadium's Hellenistic-to-Roman rebuild, the wrestling hall beside it where young Lycian men trained, and the pool archaeologists found built into the stadium floor.
