Güver Canyon

This guide stands you at the unguarded rim of Güver Canyon, also called Pigeon Cliff, where limestone walls drop over a hundred meters to three streams winding through pine forest below. It traces the roughly million years of meltwater from the Taurus Mountains that carved the two-kilometer gorge, and the wildlife it now shelters, from nesting pigeons to hawks and, on lucky mornings, lynx. From the southern edge, the view stretches past the plateau to the Mediterranean on the horizon.
