Skansen

This guide to Skansen in Stockholm follows Artur Hazelius, a teacher and linguist who watched industrialization erasing Swedish rural life and set out to rescue it building by building, buying around one hundred fifty houses from across Sweden between 1833 and 1901 and having each dismantled and shipped to this hill on Djurgården.
