Masjid al-Suqyā (مسجد السقيا)

This guide to Masjid al-Suqya in Medina opens at dawn in Ramadan of the year 624, as the Prophet Muhammad pauses at a well on the edge of a lava plain to drink and pray before leading around three hundred followers toward a far larger caravan near Badr. It follows the review of his ranks, the prayer he offered for his hungry, barefoot men, and a later story of a caliph sent to this same spot to pray for rain during a drought. Stand near where that well once stood, now folded into the old railway grounds.
