Military Museum

This guide to the Military Museum in Belgrade, inside the walls of the old fortress, follows a collection founded by Prince Milan Obrenović in eighteen seventy-eight and what the wars of the twentieth century did to it. It moves from a tiny eight-sided building in the Upper Town to the spring of nineteen forty-one, when the city was bombed and occupied. Best heard among the tanks and cannons outside the entrance.
