Electric Ladyland - Museum of Fluorescent Art

This guide to Electric Ladyland in Amsterdam follows Nick Padalino, an American who settled in the Jordaan in the 1970s with his partner Michele Delage and built a life around one obsession: fluorescence. In 1999 he opened the world's first museum devoted entirely to it, naming it after a Jimi Hendrix album, and hand-built the cave-like basement room himself, bulb by bulb, wall by wall.
