Asia Camera Museum

This guide is set inside a George Town shophouse where, in 2014, four camera collectors rescued the trays, enlargers and darkroom of the recently closed Siew Seong Studio and opened Southeast Asia's first camera museum around them. It follows the studio's darkroom rebuilt intact upstairs, and the founders' own collection of more than three hundred cameras gathered from attics and estate sales across Germany, Sweden, America and Japan. Find the repair bench still fitted with 1960s tools, as if someone just stepped out.
