Macao Giant Panda Pavilion

This guide to the Macao Giant Panda Pavilion follows Kai Kai and Xin Xin, the pair that arrived from the Chengdu Research Base in 2015 as a diplomatic gift announced during a visit from Beijing, and traces what happened to an earlier pair of pandas who came before them around 2010. It covers the twin cubs born inside this pavilion in June 2016, the first giant pandas ever born in Macau, and the public naming contest that drew more than seventeen hundred submissions from residents.
