Vrmac

This guide to Vrmac, the limestone ridge between Tivat and Kotor, follows an old Austro-Hungarian road from the fort built in eighteen sixty to the Saint Elijah summit. It asks who these paths were cut for, and who walks them today: hikers, mountain bikers and orienteers among the pines. Best heard on the crest, where you can see Kotor Bay on one side and Tivat Bay on the other.
