Solila - Special nature reserve

This guide to Solila, the old salt pans across the bay from Tivat, starts in September twenty twenty, when two flamingos turned up in the shallows after years away. It reaches back to the medieval salt trade recorded by Kotor's notaries and to the decades when the abandoned pans had no one watching them. Best heard from one of the reserve's two observation towers, looking along the old salt walls.
