Petrovac

This guide to Petrovac, on the coast south of Budva, is about appetite: the late-August Night of Petrovac on the promenade, and a seaside town with an unusual habit of putting food in strangers' hands. It takes in the Venetian fort of Kaštel Lastva at the end of the beach and the September squid contest among local fishermen. Best heard on the promenade, facing the two islets in the bay.
