Jeju Loveland

This guide to Jeju Loveland follows the Hongik University art graduates who, around 2002, set out to build Korea's first sculpture park designed purely as a grown-up playground, opening as Loveland in November 2004. It traces the interactive pieces scattered across the grounds, from a bicycle-powered sculpture to a wishing fountain, and the island's old reputation as Korea's honeymoon destination behind the whole idea.
