Ninja Weapon Museum

This guide to the Ninja Weapon Museum in Kanazawa opens with warlord Masayuki Sanada, badly outnumbered outside his fortress at Ueda in 1585, and the shinobi scouts and saboteurs he kept on retainer to even the odds. It uses roughly one hundred sixty real weapons, from worn shuriken to hooked climbing tools, to make visible a kind of warfare built on disguise, poison and timing rather than swordplay.
