Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum

This guide to the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum in Mumbai traces the life of the man the building only later came to be named for: born in Goa in 1822, part of Grant Medical College's first graduating class, a pioneer in leprosy treatment, and a scholar, archaeologist and campaigner for women's education, all before he helped found this museum and died at fifty-two in 1874.
