This guide to Busan National Science Museum asks why a building with over 31,000 square meters of floor holds barely a third of that in actual exhibits. It finds part of the answer in the ship-shaped design itself: soaring atriums, a glass prow, the domed planetarium shell, and a silver slide that drops visitors from the second floor to the first past dancing robots. It also traces how the museum came to exist at all, through a petition Busan residents carried to the National Assembly in 2006.
