Sampa Sky

This guide to Sampa Sky in São Paulo starts with the ten-millimeter glass floor forty-two floors up, a deck that slides two meters out on rails and took engineers eight months to certify before it opened in August 2021. It also reaches back to the building beneath it, Mirante do Vale, finished in 1960 after one of its engineers was murdered in a robbery partway through construction, leaving his partner to complete the tower alone.
