Dom Treasury

This guide to the Dom Treasury in Cologne descends into six vaulted rooms sunk on the north side of the cathedral, built directly atop a Roman wall and first recorded as the Golden Chamber as early as 1212. It traces how the arrival of the relics of the Three Kings from Milan in 1164 drew pilgrims by the thousands, and how their money helped raise the cathedral above.
