Vyšehrad Cemetery

This guide to Vyšehrad Cemetery in Prague opens in 1939, four months after playwright Karel Čapek's death, when the Gestapo arrived at his villa looking to arrest a man they had branded public enemy number two for warning against fascism. Finding no writer to arrest, they took his wife, the actress Olga Scheinpflugová, in for questioning instead.
