Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park

This guide to Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park in Guilin opens in 1999, when workers digging by Shanhu Lake uncovered the buried foundations of two wooden towers that had stood since the Tang dynasty before burning in the chaos of its final years. It follows the modern towers built on the same site by 2001, one in bronze and one in marble, and the underwater glass tunnel that connects them.
