About this audio guide
This guide to the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane centers on a twenty twenty-five scandal: a fifteen-thousand-dollar writing fellowship pulled from a First Nations author hours before its ceremony. You will hear about a deleted social media post, a government minister's letter, and the judges who resigned in protest. It follows the question of who gets to decide what a public library can reward, and what freedom of expression really means inside one.
